Discovering the New Belfry Play Area: A Perfect Day Out for Toddlers

A Quiet Visit During Term Time

We visited the new Belfry play area on a Friday morning during term time. It was incredibly quiet. Our toddler thoroughly enjoyed running around and exploring everything. The peaceful atmosphere allowed him to play freely without distractions.

The play area is divided into three different sections, making it suitable for various ages. We spent most of our time near the lovely, winding toddler slide. Our toddler is now fascinated with it. He could climb the steps by himself. The enclosed slide was a bit scary but just added to his fun.

Exploring the Play Area

We also explored balance beams, cargo nets, and stepping stones. Along the way, we encountered many friendly ladybirds. There were plenty of picnic tables available for snack time. The entire play area was lovely and shaded on a sunny day, making it a perfect spot for families.

The larger sections for older kids looked like great fun. They featured a giant winding slide and a climbing tunnel connecting the floors of a large play structure. There were also floor trampolines, which we're definitely looking for next time.

Facilities and Accessibility

The play area is situated at the edge of the car park. It doesn't have any facilities itself, but the hotel is just across the car park. This makes it easy to grab those much-needed coffees or snacks.

Our toddler loved the entire play area. It felt safe enough to let him run around and explore on his own. The bark-chipped floor meant that if he fell, he just got up and continued playing.

A Memorable Experience

After two and a half hours of fun, he was fast asleep before we even left the car park. The experience was delightful for both of us. The combination of safety, fun, and convenience made our visit to the Belfry play area truly memorable.
